It seemed such a good idea, until I came to write this first post. What to write? My mind went blank. So I googled 'first blog post'. That provided next to no help; all the articles I looked at were about how I could make money from my blog, or how they could make money from my blog! I'm not here to make money.
In the end I decided on a brief 'about me'. I am a homeschooling mum of four, married to a wonderful man who loves to indulge my crafty fun. I have always enjoyed making things, from clothes for my Sindy dolls as a youngster, to cross stitch embroidery, dress-making and other needle crafts as I got older. Then one day we received a hand made invite to a friend's wedding. "That's cool," I thought, and off I went in search of a paper crafting shop.
This was my first card, way back in 2006. I have bought a lot of stuff since then, tried a lot of new ideas and techniques, and I like to think improved massively. I don't have a particular style because I just love EVERYTHING!
This is one of my latest cards. It was one of those cards I really struggled to part with I liked it so much! I used the 'Kind soul' stamp and die from WPlus9, and the 'Congratulations' die from Simon Says Stamp. The butterfly was a magazine freebie, but I don't remember which magazine it was.
Thank you for stopping by!
