MFT Sketch Challenge 408

I am back again with My Favorite Things - such an appropriate name for this company.  I am joining this week's sketch challenge, and here is the sketch.

I am realising that the sketches are intended very much as a guide, but have still kept quite closely to it, I think.

This was one of those cards that just came together really easily.  The background is a shaving foam print.  My daughter, who's eleven, loves making these.  We make such a mess, and there are sheets of card drying out everywhere by the time we're finished; if I'm honest we don't always end up with many prints that I would be prepared to use, but we have fun.  The adorable little piggy is from MFT's Hog Heaven stamp set.  I coloured him and his fence in with copics and stuck them in the circle which was fashioned using the stitched circle dies from Simon Says Stamp.  I heat embossed the sentiment onto a piece of card then inked over it with Distress Evergreen Bough.  The little round drops are from Studio Katia.

The photo is terrible, and you can't really see that the circle is cut from pearlescent purple card.  As always, it looks way better 'in the flesh'.

Thank you for stopping by!
Karen
