My very first clear stamp was a Wild Rose 'Milton' stamp. He was so cute hanging on that hook in the craft shop I was visiting for the first time, and I really wanted him, but I was fairly new to paper crafting, and had no idea how to colour a stamped image. I said so to my husband, who reminded me of our family motto, "You don't know if you don't try."
"I know," I said, "but I could never colour like that." From over my other shoulder came a voice. "Promarkers, Chica. Promarkers." I don't know why she called me chica, but she explained briefly about alcohol markers, and the shop sold promarkers.
So I left the shop some time later with that stamp, and a few promarkers. I have tried plenty of other colouring mediums in the ten or so years since that day, but I still love my promarkers.
So here is Milton with what I always imagine is a valentine. I actually used copics (E35, E34, E31, E30, R85, R83) to colour him in this time.
